Aston Martin opens its doors to ambitious women and girls on International Women’s Day

Aston Martin is cast is opening its doors to women and girls as part of an event to inspire the next generation of talent and highlight employment opportunities in the automotive industry on International Women’s Day.

Celebrating International Women’s Day on Wednesday 8 March, Aston Martin is inviting ambitious women and girls from across the country to visit Aston Martin Works, an iconic heritage site in Newport Pagnell, and experience a day in the life of an Aston Martin employee .

The day includes a tour of the Newport Pagnell facility and heritage dealership, as well as a talk and panel event in association with Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula 1.TM team. Guests will also have the opportunity to hear from Aston Martin’s female business leaders before meeting the Aston Martin Formula 1.TM team information director Clare Lansley.

The event is aligned with Aston Martin Competition. Green With a sustainability strategy announced in 2022, the British ultra-luxury brand sets bold goals in all areas of business, from tackling climate change to creating a better environment to building a stronger, more diverse and inclusive company. A key element of the strategy is to have 25% of all Aston Martin management positions held by women over the next five years. The company continues to work to achieve leadership positions for women while supporting ongoing efforts to create equitable spaces for all.
