Mercedes-Benz Maybach late on Tuesday announced the Night Series treatment for three vehicles in the series. This line-up consists of versions developed by Maybach S-class sedan and GLS-class SUVand new for the 2024 model year is the all-electric EQS SUV.
Any Maybach is already a special car, but the Night Series enhances this special feeling with a few extras. Key among them are the colorful details, which, as the Night Series name suggests, use a dark theme.
All three vehicles are given a two-tone paint job, with black as the main color and silver on the upper part, creating the effect of a dark night broken by moonlight. The usual chrome accents have also been replaced by dark chrome pieces, and there is a rose gold paint around the headlights.
One of the most characteristic elements of the Night Series is the wheel design. It has thin spokes separated by a flat section of tiny Maybach logos.
There are dark details similar to the interior as well as more rose gold elements. Designers used a herringbone pattern on parts of the cabin, such as the wood trim, and added a unique Night Series launch animation to the infotainment system.
The S-Class and EQS SUV Night Series models will hit dealerships later this year, and the GLS-Class Night Series will hit dealerships in early 2024 – all as 2024 models. A matching range of fashion items and travel accessories will also be available.
Pricing information has not been released.
