First run in 2010, the Malaysia Speed ​​​​Festival (MSF) has launched its 2023 championship season in the two- and four-wheel racing sports, with the first round starting this weekend on March 5, 2023.

This will take place at the Sepang International Circuit, where the 5.5km, 15-turn circuit will once again host the MSF SuperTurismo series for production cars and the MSF Superbikes series for two-wheelers.

The MSF SuperTurismo racers are divided into three categories of production cars – Ultimate Series, Super Series and Production Series, alongside the one-make Saga Cup, the latter of which has been extremely well received with grids of up to 70 cars. participate.

This year, MSF SuperTurismo is introducing a new endurance circuit called the Merdeka 88 Endurance. As the name suggests, the new addition to the calendar will complete 88 laps at the Sepang International Circuit.

For motorcycles, participants in the MSF Superbikes series can compete in the All Stars, GP Master, GP Pro, GP X and Super Rookie categories, where selection is based on experience and ability (based on lap times).

The Sepang International Circuit will host six rounds of the MSF SuperTurismo this year – on March 5, June 11, July 9, September 17 and the finale on October 22. March 5, July 9, September 17 and the finale on October 22.

Smaller displacement, but no less exciting, is the MSF SuperMoto series under the MotoMSF motorcycle umbrella, where the competitors on supermoto machines show close racing, with lots of sliding on the narrow tracks of the country.

Six rounds, including a non-championship round, will be held this year for MSF SuperMoto, starting with Round 1 at Litar Lumba Rakyat Kuala Selangor on March 11-12, followed by Round 2 at UniMap Perlis on May 20-21. The non-league round will be held in Morac Langkawi on June 17-18, followed by Round 3 in Tangkak, Johor on August 5-6.

The venue for Round 4 on September 2-3 is to be confirmed and the season finale will be held on November 5 at the Sepang International Kart Circuit.
