Barrett-Jackson’s Palm Beach auction features highly desirable European sports cars and supercars

Barrett-Jackson Collector car auctions is giving bidders the chance to drive home the European sports car or supercar of their dreams at this year’s Palm Beach Auction, April 13-15 at the South Florida Fairgrounds. Some of the most desirable European cars on this year’s list include an 885-horsepower 2018 McLaren 720S (Item 738), a 2017 Ferrari 488 Spider (Item 737) and two 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS models featuring the Weissach package including Item 744 with only 80 actual miles.

The silver and black 2018 McLaren 720S (Item 738) is powered by a 4.0-liter M840T twin-turbo V8 engine with 885 horsepower VF Stage 2 tuning, mated to a 7-speed Graziano dual-clutch manual transmission. Designed by SWAE Outfitting Company in collaboration with 1016 Industries, it features a full carbon wide frame kit with 200 pounds of weight reduction and 3D printed titanium wing mounts.

2019 Porsche Speedster (Item 745)

Among the powerful Porsches crossing the Palm Beach block are two highly desirable 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS models, each with the Weissach Package (Item 744 and 748.1. item), and a 2019 Porsche Speedster (Item 745) with only 34 actual miles. The Guards Red 2019 speedster boasts a naturally aspirated 6-cylinder engine that produces 502 horsepower and is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. 1974 De Tomaso Pantera GTS (Item 664)

Item 664 a dark red 1974 De Tomaso Pantera GTS, one of only 150 GTS models ordered. This GTS is powered by a 351ci V8 engine mated to a ZF 5-speed manual transmission, and its exterior is accented by a blacked-out hood and trunk. Two custom 1972 De Tomaso Panteras cross the Palm Beach block without a spare. Item 742 a Black Cherry twin-turbo, show-quality car with over six years and 10,000 hours in its unique turning room restoration. Twin-turbo power flows through a ZF five-speed manual transmission, and the car is equipped with an Alpine audio system, power windows, power mirrors, power brakes and air conditioning. Finished in Racing Orange, Item 702 only 69 miles since full nut-bolt customization and restoration. It’s powered by a custom-built 600 horsepower V8 engine mated to a fully polished ZF 5-speed manual transmission from the experts at PI Motorsport Pantera in California.

2017 Aston Martin DB11 Launch Edition (Item 757)

Aston Martin, often recognized for its role in the James Bond films, is represented at auction by a 2017 DB11 Launch Edition (Item 757), one of only 1000 produced. Fast enough to leave bad guys in the dust, it’s powered by a 600 horsepower twin-turbo V12 engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Finished in Madagascar Orange with Obsidian Black/Argento Gray leather interior, it also includes an 8-inch navigation system, 12-inch color LCD cluster and Bluetooth, and is signed and inspected by Aston Martin CEO Dr. Andy Palmer.
