Shelby is American honorable the 100th anniversary of the founder’s birth with a small series Centennial Edition Mustangs. Only 100 of the Supercharged Carroll Shelby Centennial Edition Mustangs for the 2023 model year will be available at Shelby American’s Las Vegas lineup, with a few available at official mod shops around the world. The prototype will be unveiled in Gardena, California on Saturday, January 14 at 10 a.m. PST, with the production version upcoming Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona.
“This new limited edition car celebrates Carroll Shelby and pays tribute to his many accomplishments,” said Vince LaViolette, Shelby’s U.S. vice president and head of research and development. “To honor him properly, we had to build a car that was truly born to run. The new Carroll Shelby Centennial Edition Mustang is a well-balanced car that is much more than a horsepower upgrade. We’ve also sharpened the handling and styling of the world-class 5.0-liter V8 Mustang GT. It has all the performance Carroll needed to put his name on a car. We’re so sure he’ll approve of us throwing a black Stetson like the one he wore into every car.”
Based on the spectacular 2023 Ford Mustang GT, the new Carroll Shelby Centennial Edition Mustang is different from the Shelby Super Snake. Enthusiasts can choose a hatchback or convertible with a manual or automatic transmission. Any stock Ford Mustang color is acceptable as a post-title program. Only 100 of the 2023 Centennial Edition Mustangs will be built by Shelby American in Las Vegas, and a few will be converted by international mod shops. Consumers with a qualifying Ford Mustang GT can have their car modified by Shelby American or an authorized Shelby mod shop. The package includes a black Stetson hat and a copy of the Shelby Centennial Book published by Team Shelby.
All Carroll Shelby Centennial Edition Mustangs include membership Team Shelbythe Carroll Shelby World Club established in 2008 and will be eligible for official documentation. Shelby Registry.
