To mark the anniversary of the brand’s first ever classic open-top four-seater, MINI presents this sporty and instantly classic model with exclusive equipment and design features, available in either sparkling blue Caribbean Aqua or bright Nanuq White body color. An exclusive number of approximately 500 MINI Seaside Editions will be available to U.S. consumers, with this special model priced at $45,460, plus an additional $995 for destination and handling.
With production expected between March and July 2023, the appearance of the limited Seaside Edition accentuates the distinctive features of this stylish convertible with edition-specific exterior and interior design.
The decoration of this edition is unique, all elements are high-gloss white. On the other side, a strip extends from the side headlights to the rear lights. Patterns commemorating 30 years of fresh-air motoring can be found on the side windows, front bumper sticker and wheel center caps. Exclusive to Caribbean Aqua metallic, the 18-inch Pulse Spoke 2-tone wheel is wrapped in summer performance tires, while the Nanuq White metallic 17-inch Roulette Spoke 2-tone rims feature all-season tires.
Upon entering the vehicle, the moldings on the vehicle doors convey the exclusive aura of the interior with two white stripes and the inscription Seaside. Carbon black leather seats with comfortable knee bends and door armrests provide comfort, while with an open soft top, they harmonize perfectly with the two exterior surfaces. The floor mats and decorative moldings on the front dashboards also feature edition-specific designs, with badges, printed patterns and lettering that mimics the anniversary theme.
Based on the Cooper S convertible with Iconic trim, additional features include a Nappa leather steering wheel with Seaside Edition inserts and heated steering wheel, with a choice of sport dual-clutch/automatic transmission or six-speed manual transmission at no additional cost. , heated front seats, Storage package, Parking assistant, Harman Kardon premium sound system, and two-zone automatic climate control for the comfort of drivers.
