The Road Transport Department (JPJ) addressed the issue of the sale of registration numbers and use of the JPJeBID logo through its official account on the TikTok platform and stated that the social media account in question is fake.
In a post on its official Facebook page, the ministry said it does not have a TikTok account called @jpjebidofficial and does not issue flyers or leaflets for the sale of registration numbers presented through this account.
“Unauthorized use of the department’s official logo is an offense and the department will not hesitate to take strict action against any person who misuses the department’s official logo,” it said.
He advised the public not to believe such advertisements and to contact the nearest JPJ office for more accurate information if necessary.
