At the launch of the Audi Q8 e-tron and e-tron GT today, PHS Automotive Malaysia (PHSAM) announced a partnership with Moon Power – a subsidiary of Porsche Holding Salzburg – to provide charging solutions to e-tron owners in the country.
This is the brand’s first foray into a country outside of Europe, and from September this year, customers will be able to purchase Moon Power wall box chargers in 11kW and 22kW variants from Audi dealers in the country.
Details such as pricing and charger specifications will be announced later, but PHSAM ensures that all Moon Power units meet Audi’s charging and safety requirements.
Ahead of the launch, PHSAM revealed that Moon Power chargers have been installed at all three Audi Centers in Glenmarie, Setia Alam and Juru. Each outlet boasts three 22kW AC chargers and one 180kW DC charger, exclusive to e-tron owners.
