The order bank for the 2023 Ford Bronco will open for 24 hours on March 27

As you might expect, the Bronco6G forum keeps track of the elusive quarry known as the Ford Bronco. According to their reports, it will be easier to get a jackalope than a truck this year. Last November, FoMoCo opened the 2023 Bronco order banks for reservation holders not building their 2022 Bronco. In January, the automaker tried to sway buyers with a cash offer to change their order to a different configuration or a different Ford vehicle. We don’t know how things have turned out in the meantime – apart from the 2023 price increases – but the forum reports Ford will open the Bronco order bank in 2023 to the public on March 27. The most important thing to know: The bank will be open 24 hours a day. The hopefuls will need The Force to have any chance of success.

But wait, there’s more. Endless production restrictions exclude some popular options from the catalog. Ford does not accept orders the base or Everglades trim. A seven-speed manual transmission is not permitted. As do the optional $995 Badlands wheels, the 17-inch high-gloss painted aluminum units feature a Carbonized Gray beauty ring. The same rims that have a beauty ring made of warm alloy and are beaded are not limited; however, these wheels come with the Sasquatch pack, which remains heavily limited. A luxury package with features like adaptive cruise control, a Bang & Olufsen stereo, SYNC4 and a heated steering wheel? Also heavily restricted. The two-door upholstery, colored hardtop for the four-door? You might want to reconsider if you really want a truck delivered in this model year.

Big Bend, Black Diamond, Outer Banks, Badlands and Heritage Edition trims are on the menu, as is the Wildrtrak, but according to Bronco6G, this trim will be offered in very limited numbers. And remember, the Raptor and Heritage Limited trims are distributed differently, making them even more challenging to obtain than a regular Bronco.

Another thread explains it price protection on 2023 Bronco orders, being takeaway, it may not be available in the next round of orders. According to the opening post, only those with “2023MY orders placed before March 15, 2023” will be protected.
