Detroit Concours announces details for 2023 event

The Detroit Concours is back to the Motor City this year on Friday, September 22nd and Saturday, September 23rd for a two-day event celebrating automotive Americana. Guests can experience car culture with hands-on opportunities, automotive activities for all ages, Detroit-centric car love and a Concours showroom filled with 150 rare vehicles.

“We are proud to bring this iconic event back to Detroit, which has long been the center of the automotive universe,” said Hagerty CEO McKeel Hagerty. “Auto enthusiasts across the state and region can once again expect to see the best in automotive innovation, design and craftsmanship in a world-class setting. It’s going to be a special few days.”

Friday’s Cars & Community event offers a fun festival for the whole family. The day features the Motor City Car Club Displays, a collection of locally owned show vehicles from the Midwest, the Future Drivers Club for all ages, a RADwood era showcase and more. Tickets for Friday’s event can be exchanged here. Children under 15 can attend the event for free.

Saturday’s Concours d’Elegance is home to 150 historically significant vehicles. Featured classes include ’57 Heaven, Mopar Magic, Ferraris from the ’60s and the Concours of America All Stars, featuring the best-in-class vehicles from 1979 to 2021. The awards ceremony and free Hagerty Ride & Drives will be available to public ticket holders throughout the day. Tickets for Saturday’s event can be exchanged here.
